Blake Everett

Blake Everett is an actor, comedian and musician. He runs Playhouse Pantomimes; writes, acts in and directs all of our shows; and co-writes the music.

Blake has been acting in kids shows since he was a kid himself,  performing in his first panto at the Doncaster Playhouse in 2012 when he was 14 before starting Playhouse Pantomimes in 2017. The role Blake is most proud of is the co-titular role of the Beanstalk in 'Jack and the Beanstalk.'

As a comedian, Blake has won an Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award for Best Comedy for his duo show; ‘Blake Everett and Oliver Coleman: Dig Their Own Graves’, which received 5 and 4.5 star reviews, sold out runs and a return season to Adelaide Fringe.

Most recently, he was nominated for Best Music at the 2023 Melbourne Fringe for his show ‘Video Games Made My Son Like Country Music.'

Everett is a versatile performer, having started publicly performing comedy at 14, with his fourth ever gig being the Class Clowns National Final at the Melbourne Town Hall. He then did his first hour at 18, whilst still in year 12, and has since brought a new show to every Melbourne International Comedy Festival since 2016.
