Playhouse Pantomimes Presents Story Soup: An Improvised Panto
and Pinocchio!

story soup.jpeg

Playhouse Pantomimes is proud to present… absolutely anything you want!

Our hilarious team of improvisers will make up a brand-new musical pantomime on the spot. But we need your help! Bring along a head full of ideas and we’ll create a fairytale based on suggestions that you, the audience, give us!

There’ll be plenty of music and plenty of laughs. There could be puppets, there might be dancing – we don’t know, we haven’t written it yet!

Playhouse Pantomimes has been creating theatre for children since 2017, with musical adaptations of beloved classics such as Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood and The Wind in the Willows. Following two successful Melbourne International Comedy Festival runs of adapted works in 2022 and 2023, we are thrilled to return to the Festival with our brand-new improvised show!
